timberrrrrrr

so, i was awaken this morning around 1am by a police officer banging on my door. i open it thinking hmmm this can't be good. she proceeds to tell me that a tree has fallen.....

and it's on my car......

the power was also knocked out so i couldn't see a thing or go outside to survey the damage. but luckily when i went out this morning it wasn't so bad. the old jeep escaped with just some scratches and a bent antenna. ahhh. a wonderful wednesday.

prague

since it has taken me sooo long to post about it - here's brief recap...

summed up = absolutely beautiful. did not want to leave.

we flew from dublin to prague for the second half of our trip. i know, a random combination of places to visit but it was great because they are so different. our hotel, u tri bubnu {three red drums} was in the PERFECT location right on old towne square.

our first night there we went to see the ballet. having a glass of wine outside the estates theatre.

inside view...

night shot on the square after the ballet...

lunch at kampa park the next day with a great view of the charles bridge...

me on the charles bridge...

cute cafe where we ate one night {we tried to eat every meal on the water near the bridge}...

beautiful cathedrals....

made the hike up to the prague castle....

wenceslas square...

jewish cemetary....

world cup was a pretty big deal....

inside the national theatre after the opera....

we had to take a shot of absinthe while we were there...thought i was going to die.

then we proceeded to this club...never have i laughed so hard.

the reason i gained 15 lbs on this trip...........gelato on every corner!
